Pensoft at the XIII Latin American Congress of Botany in Cuba

Pensoft is participating in the XIII Latin American Congress of Botany in Havana, Cuba, on March 10-14, 2025. The event is organized by the Latin American Botanical Association, with Planta! - Plantlife Conservation Society as the international organizer.

At the congress, Pensoft has a dedicated stand highlighting several of the journals it publishes that focus on botany and mycology, including PhytoKeys, MycoKeys, IMA Fungus, Plant Ecology and Evolution, Italian Botanist, Biodiversity Data Journal, Neotropical Biology and Conservation, and Check List. Congress participants are encouraged to visit the Pensoft stand to discuss publishing opportunities, explore their journals, and learn more about their publishing and technology solutions.

As part of a symposium session on the digitization and publication of herbariums and botanical collections, Pensoft will also present a talk. On Friday, March 14, 2025, at 10:45 the company’s CEO Lyubomir Penev will give a talk on "Advancing Plant Taxonomy and Conservation through Scholarly Communication." The presentation will cover the various workflows and tools to streamline data publishing and efficient scholarly communication, focusing on aspects such as semantic enrichment, data publishing, andimport/export features.
